As the construction comes to completion in the new McGee Pavilion, the students in the “Inventing the Student Run Gallery” course have been planning the first exhibition.

I am happy to announce that the name chosen for the new student run gallery, from among many suggestions, is the Robert C. Turner Gallery.

At the request of the students setting up the gallery this semester, I am sending out the attached Call for Submissions. Work is requested from undergraduate students working in all art disciplines.

This is an exciting opportunity to exhibit work in the first show in the new student gallery space. The deadline for submissions is October 19, accepted work will be announced October 22, and the exhibition will open on October 28.
