Looking for something to do this weekend? Come to the Alfred Rocks kick off event!
Alfred Rocks is a new initiative on campus; collect rocks around the village of Alfred, decorate them, and hide them in plain sight around campus for another student to find as a random act of kindness.
This Saturday from 1pm-4pm in the Cohen Barn Studio on Main Street, come decorate a few rocks and enjoy some snacks! All supplies will be provided (including rocks, but feel free to bring your own as well).
I hope to see you there!

Tonight: With your new group create your assigned layout- Refer to the white board and the diagrams listed.
As a group, make sure it follows the layout and make aesthetic decisions together (for example: if you use a piece of black and pink pattern paper then as a group you need to evaluate your choices. Make edits! Exchange pattern pieces and TRY many options . See a variety of options in order to make a final group decision. Listen to one another and voice your opinion so that as a group you can make decisions towards a successful object.
Do not glue anything down- use your glue stick to tack down the paper, so it doesn’t blow away.
